Modern Windsor Chairs: These bowback chair were designed to compliment the Bowback Bench Here you see several variations; the first made was the Contemporary Windsor Side Chair pictured both center and right above. To the left above are the Contemporary Windsor Variations Chairs: less massive, version of the original Windsor Side Chair , it “sits’ the same but has fewer spindles, a slightly cut-down seat and laminated braces instead of stretchers.  Below right you will see a version of the Contemporary Windsor Arm Chair. To the right below is a photo of the Contemporary Windsor Variation Side Chair. I have also made a version of the original side chair (with stretchers) with arms like those pictured on the Windsor Variation Arm Chair to the right; I have a photo but it is very poor and shown below.
